The three work streams developed separately but are woven together, and without knowing each other they're all the same, they have a total interconnectedness. They reflect the world as I experience it today, they feed off each other, and they complement each other, and explain each other. The work can be seen in isolation, but is stronger together. The delicate balance of the sculptures and the delicate forms in the carbonisation images are both deteriorating in their own way. The deterioration and fine balance of the sculptures is also reflected in the fragile and temporary nature of the Instagram images and the temporary nature of life, of barely holding onto something, to relationships, to sanity, being pushed too far, to the edge of collapse.
